Witch

Some gain power through study, some through devotion, others through blood, but the witch gains power from her communion with the unknown. There are many powers throughout the planes looking for servants and many people in the world looking for power. Sometimes these interests intersect and a pact formed, creating a bond between the new witch and their patron. Using her familiar as a conduit, witches gain not only a host of spells from their patron but a number of strange abilities known as hexes. Generally feared and misunderstood, most witches hide their powers, and in some instances themselves, from the rest of the world. As a witch grows in power, she might learn about the source of her magic, but some remain blissfully unaware. Some are even afraid of that source, fearful of what it might be or where its true purposes lie.
